A passion for specialty coffee, a love of education, and a great friendship is what bonds us together. Hailing from different corners of the world, each of us contributes to this magnificent project with our own background, experience, culture and personality.
A coffee guru if there’s ever been one, Patrick’s 30+ years of experience in specialty coffee have earned him world-wide recognition as a master Roaster, Cupper and coffee all-rounder.
A native of Arizona, Patrick travels the world making coffee better, all of this while running 3 very successful coffee companies in the US: Infusion Coffee & Tea, Espresso Italia and International Barista & Coffee Academy (IBCA- USA).
Our Kiwi Barista Extraordinaire is head trainer at Caffé Vergnano, in Turin since 2008. Passionate about coffee, and always full of energy and good humor, Damian makes sure we’re all on the bus on time, all smiling for the perfect picture, and especially learning and having a great time.
He’s also our official english-italian-english translator as well as honorary director of European Travel Operations.
Colombian to the core, Ricardo has been roasting specialty coffee since 2003. He’s been our man on the ground for our first two coffee voyages and has also hosted us at his company, Tecnocafé, in Bogotá for our roasting training.
A passionate educator and dedicated entrepreneur, Ricardo has been training baristas, roasters and cuppers for well over a decade.
